Roof Up! & Merry Xmas!

Roof is up just in time before the Xmas break.  Good thing too as the storms are coming hard and fast these days!.  Lower roof will be up tomorrow according  to SM.

Won't be any updates until after NY (mid Jan) before subbies comes back in to continue the work 

Upper floor Frame up

Firs floor frame is up . Looks like most of the framing will be done by end of the week ;)

First Floor frame is up

Drove past after work today and discovered the first floor frame is up!

Slab poured!

The slab seems to be nice and flat. There's a bit of spill on the driveway area but they promised to  remove it so that's cool.  We have also received words from our Site Manager that the roof should be up before the Xmas break. So far so good!

Site Cut!

And we have Lift Off!  Site has been cut/filled and the pipes are in!

Construction Stage Begins!

Wohoo! Just received words from our Builder has informed us the construction stage has official started & they have assigned a SM, organised the work & materials ! Here we go!!

Final Design - No more changes

After 9 PCVs (Post Contract Variations). We have decided we better finish so we can start building! (I think our builder's running out of patience!)

Landscape Plan

We had to hand in a landscape plan to our estate so it can past Estate Covenant approval (one of the annoying thing if you buy in a new estate :-/

So here it is  (it passed with flying colors haha!)

House Design selected - Fairmont 34

After going to display homes for weeks, we have decided on a design from Clarendon Homes - Fairmont 34. We selected Clarendon Homes since the starting price is a bit cheaper than everyone else , and the salesperson seem to know what they are talking about (unlike other builders which seems to know nothing but sales, this bloke actually seems to have construction experience)

We shortlisted 3 design and end up selected fairmont 34 as it suits our need.. with just a tiny bit of modification ;)

Land is Settled!

We have settled on a piece of land to build our dream.

It measures 14.9m by 32m long (477sqm), Paid a handsome sum for it but hopefully it's going to be worth it! :)
